Millenium Way Relay 2014

Have you decided on your challenge for 2014 - Why not raise the bar whilst raising money for The Children's Centre?

The Millennium Way Relay Race is a perfect opportunity for you and your team mates to be part of a fantastic event and raise funds for an amazing charity.

The race is over a 28 mile, multi terrain course on the historic Millennium Way. The route consists of four legs each of which is very different and has it's own challenges. The first leg (11 miles approx) starting in Ramsey is the longest across open fell, the second (6 miles approx) is trail and mostly downhill, whilst the third (4.5 miles approx) is all on the road but predominantly uphill. The final stage (6.5 miles approx) of the course is mainly flat and across country. So there should be a leg that appeals to everyone.

The relay event is open to teams of up to four people and there will also be an option for individual runners to run the entire distance of approx 26 miles!

The race finishes in Castletown Poulson Park. There will be a post race buffet and presentation not forgetting your free running vest. Family, friends and supporters are welcome to come along to the presentation.

We will include in your race pack a sponsorship form to help you and your supporters raise some additional funds for The Children's Centre. The Children’s Centre develops, manages and pioneers a variety of community initiatives and services aimed at enabling children, young people and families to realise their full potential.
