The final round of the Isle of Man Bank sponsored Winter Hill Running League takes place on Saturday 14th December at St Johns. The race will be held over a short testing course mostly within Slieau Whallian Plantation. The course will be fully marked.
Minimum age is school year 7.
Racing gets under way at 1.30pm with registration from 12.30pm at the car park opposite the Farmers Arms.

2014 Race routes are being finalised with changes to checkpoints (refer to UPDATE 1 on the INFORMATION PAGE for reasons why) and are currently being updated on the website.

Walter Kennaugh made a meticulous record of local fell races, all detailed in a hand written account which has now been scanned to preserve it in electronic form. It makes for a great read and covers results from 1988 all the way through to 2006.
You can view the scanned version here but bear in mind that as it is scanned in colour it is around 60Mb in size so please be patient when downloading it! Colour was the best option to preserve as much detail and feel for the original as possible but a black & white copy will be made available also. It is also planned to transfer the results to a format which can be published on the website (thanks to Roger Moughtin who is meticulously typing each race results into a spreadsheet!)

The second round of the Isle of Man Bank sponsored Winter Hill Running League takes place on Saturday 16th November at Glen Helen. There will be a change to the course from last year due to the majority of the glen being closed. A new course has been identified which is mainly in the Eary Beg Plantation; it just needs a final tweak to provide the usual tough and fast challenge that is ideal for newcomers. The course will be fully flagged.
Start time is 1.30pm with registration at the Glen Helen car park from 12.30pm. The youngest permitted runners will be school year 7 and the winning time is expected to be around 16 minutes.

The AGM of Manx Fell Runners will be held on Friday 8th November at 7.30pm in St Georges AFC Clubhouse , Glencrutchery Road. Club members and non members welcome. Following the AGM there will be the presentation of awards for the 2013 Rentokil sponsored Manx Fell Running League.
Drinks in town afterwards, venue(s) to be decided!
