Sign on at The Claddagh camp site.
Start and finish at The Claddagh
Follow public footpath/track to small foot bridge. Cross river to road. Cross road to Manned safety control 1 (38325 92125)
Ascend Mount Karrin summit. Unmanned control CP2 (37715 91910)
Travel south westerly to ‘Carin’ unmanned control CP3 (37000 91150)
Descend into Tholt -e-Will Plantation via gate. Manned safety control 4 (37135 90860)
Descend To manned safety control 5 road crossing (37840 89690). (at old church building near car park) Sulby Glen road is out of bounds. Fence near road must not be crossed at any point. Stay in the plantation at all times. . You will be directed to the footbridge into Tholt–y–Will Glen.
Ascend in an easterly direction to Block Eary unmanned control 6 (39585 89800)
Ascend north to unmanned safety control Creg Bedn control 7 (39540 91460)
Descend in a north easterly direction and enter Slieau Managh plantation, following the fire break and edge of the plantation to the start of the public right of way. Keeping strictly to the signposted footpath and stiles, cross the farmland and stream to reach the track above Ohio plantation.
Follow the track through Ohio Plantation to reach the finish at Sulby Claddaghs. Keep to the main tracks and do not stray onto adjoining farmland.
