North Barrule 2019 - Wednesday 3rd July 2019

The forecast is looking good, so hopefully we will have relaxed safety requirements. However, please always arrive ready to carry everything. Please be careful driving up to the farm, it is a narrow, single track road. Be especially careful after the race, when you have to turn left/right back onto the coast road at the Hibernia junction.

Sign on from 6:00pm, closes at 6:50pm to enable time keepers and runners to get to the start area. No late comers!

This is the penultimate counter in the Junior League, so it would be great to see the juniors competing. Open to all runners aged 12 or above.

Next race in the Callin Wild Manx Fell Running League will be the James Coulson Laxey Race. Date is Thursday June 13th with a 7.00pm start from Glen Ruy Farm. Registration will be from 6.00pm until 6.45pm.

Full safety gear is mandatory for all runners. Minimum age is 18 years on race day. Distance is 13km with a challenging 650m of ascent. If you need to access the course for a recce the easiest way during TT fortnight is to go from the car park at Conrhenny. The course can then be followed as far as the final check point on the mountain wall above Ballacowin Farm. Please do not go on to the farm land. The route back to the finish will be clearly marked on race day. [Richie Stevenson]
