Ard Whallin 2016 Race Info

The second round of the Callin Wild Manx Fell Running League takes place on Saturday 30 January. The Ardwhallin Race is held over a tough 12km course based at Ardwallin Outdoor Pursuits Centre in West Baldwin. Start time is 1.00pm for those who expect to finish in over 2 hours and 1.30pm for the late start.

Registration will be from 12.15pm until 12.45pm for the early start and 12.45pm until 1.15pm for the late. Minimum age is 18 years on day of race. Full safety gear is mandatory for all competitors.

Parking is restricted at Ardwhallin but there is space at the Colden Plantation car park and at the side of the road at the reservoir. Car sharing would be advisable. Please park sensibly.

Runners please note that there is no manned safety control at the Cronk Breck track. This has been moved to the summit of Slieau Ruy. All race controls must be visited in numerical order. Full route description at http://manxfellrunners.org/ardwhallin
It would be inadvisable for any novice runners to enter if they have not been able to recce the course.
