Axnfell Race 2022 - Entry & Info

The final league counter of the season takes place this Sunday 11th September at 10am, the 33km AL category Axnfell race. Note there will be no short race this year (Short Ax). Due to the length and challenging nature of this route, please heed the cut off times which can be found on the race info page. Full safety kit will be required for all runners, including emergency food. Weather permitting there will be a BBQ operated by Svetlin but the cold beer & ice cream gopher service will not be available due to holiday absence.

James Coulson Laxey Fell Race 2022

The penultimate race in the Callin Wild Manx Fell Running League takes place on Sunday 21st August at the revised start time of 9.30AM (originally due at 10am but brought forward due to MGP road closures). Registration from 8.30AM at Glen Roy (see map via the race info link below).

There will be a short course held alongside the longer one, open to anyone 12 or over (13 by 31/12/2022).

Killer Mile 2022 - Pre Entry

THIS OPTION IS ONLY FOR THOSE NOT PARTICIPATING IN THE NO REST FOR THE WICKED SERIES

Racing gets underway at 7.01pm in the usual location on Marine Drive in Douglas, just further along the road from Pigeon Stream Car Park. It will be obvious on the day. /// Link: https://w3w.co/mental.mostly.boat or Google Maps LINK

As per 2021 runners will go off in groups of 5 maximum at 1 minute intervals. Where possible we will organise families and groups to run together but to facilitate this please try to organise yourselves into groups before collecting numbers. Please register in good time to allow for timekeepers to reach their positions. Registration will close at 18:45. Minimum age is 9 on the day.

Slooby Dhoo 2022 Pre Entry

Racing kicks off at 13:30 with registration from 12:15 until 13:00 at Ballamoar Campsite. The race starts up the road at Ballaugh Plantation so give yourself enough time to get up to the start area. Car parking will be available at the campsite.

After the racing there will be a resumption of the World Egg Throwing Championships at around 4pm. Eggs will be provided. There may also be food provided - details will be posted on Facebook but refreshments will be available at the campsite regardless. Anyone wishing to camp should make a booking and add “MFR” to the notes.
