Entries are now open for the Killer Mile, to be held on Wednesday 11th August. Anyone entered in the NRFTW series will be entered automatically so no need to complete this form.
The course remains the same as in previous years, starting a short walk from Pigeon Stream car park on Marine Drive in Douglas. Minimum age is 9 for this 1 mile uphill race. Location map HERE.
Runners will start in groups of 5 (maximum) - we will endeavour to keep families/groups together but to help facilitate this please try and organise yourselves in advance to make things easier for the registration crew. Start times will be written on your race number. First runners off at 19:01, registration from 6pm.
Entry fee for those not in the NRFTW series is £5, or £1 for juniors. All entry fees go to the Special Care Baby Unit at Nobles.

Well done to the 27 runners who took part in at least one of the Junior League races this season. After some very close racing, an excellent number of 15 athletes qualified having ran the required 4 races from 6.
Congratulations to Northern AC pair Lucas Stennett and Madison McMullan who topped their respective class. There will be a prize presentation later in the season, probably tied in with the final Winter Hill League race, details will be posted nearer the time.
It’s only a few days since the Slieau Ruy race but next up in the Callin Wild Manx Fell Running League is the James Coulson Laxey Race on Friday, 30th July at 7pm. Registration at Glen Ruy farm (Google Map) from 6pm.
Once again there will long and short course options. The short course route remains the same as 2020, following the track to Windy Corner before returning via a flagged route to the finish. The route will be marshalled to ensure short course runners take the same route!
The long course route has been amended and no longer visits the checkpoints in Snaefell Mines valley or Cronk-y-Vaare. Full information and updated map via link below.
Long course runners will require full safety kit (including printed map); short course runners should be prepared to carry a waterproof jacket and whistle.

A busy month on the fells sees the Slieau Ruy race taking place on Thursday 22nd July at 7pm. Start/Finish is at Glen Helen with registration from 6pm. Long and short courses are available with the short course being fully flagged to avoid the same navigational mishaps from last year! Short course open to anyone aged 12 and above (but 13 on 31/12/2021). Runners aged 16 to 18 may run either course.
Car parking is limited so once again we urge you to car chare wherever possible (or cycle!)
